Officer Daniel Camuso

Daniel Mark Camuso, Attended Dublin Christian Academy and Graduated in 2016. He enjoyed playing soccer and lifting at the gym.  In 2016, Daniel thought about playing soccer in College and was given an opportunity to play soccer for Bob Jones University, but decided he wanted to work instead. Daniel started working as a line cook and grill master at Chipotle and worked there for one year. In 2017 Daniel started Drilling wells for a local company out of Swanzey, NH, and did that for about six months, learning the trade a developing skills. In November, Daniel Started working for FedEx as a Package Deliverer until he realized he was going to do what he always wanted and become a Police Officer. In August 2019, Daniel was hired by a local agency and attended the 180^th police academy, graduating in December of 2019.

Officer Daniel Camuso comes from a legacy of Police officers, Officer Camuso had two uncles that were full-time police officers and grew up around a very law enforcement-oriented family.  Daniel’s Uncle Benny Abrazo was a Newark, New Jersey, Police Officer for 25 years and worked in narcotics for 17 years. He was responsible for the taking down of drug lord Frank Lucas. This inspired Daniel to become a part of the family legacy. Officer Camuso loves working with the community and has practiced soccer with the Hinsdale varsity Highschool team. Officer Camuso wants to make a difference in the community with his story and show others that anything is possible.
