Sergeant Adam Belville

Sergeant Belville is a 2007 graduate of Castleton University and holds a B.A. Criminal Justice with a Minor in Sociology.  He graduated the 2007 Basic Training for Police Professionals (Vermont Police Academy) and was certified as a Full-Time Certified Police Officer in the State of Vermont.  Sergeant Belville was previously employed by the  Brattleboro Police Department from 2007-2017.  During this time he was a Member of the Special Reaction Team (SRT) from 2010-2013.  He is a certified Field Training Officer, Death Investigator and was assigned to the to the Criminal Investigations Division (CID) in 2010.  From 2011-2013 Sergeant Belville was assigned to the  Windham County State’s Attorney’s Office as a Domestic Violence Investigator.  In 2014 he was promoted to the rank of  Patrol Sergeant.

Sergeant Belville transferred to the Springfield, VT Police Department in 2017 where he held the rank of Patrol Sergeant.  In September 2017 Adam accepted a position with the Hinsdale Police Department.  He holds multiple certifications in various aspects of law enforcement and is currently assigned to the patrol division.
