Brattleboro Police Department
The town of Brattleboro, VT is Hinsdale’s western border town with the Connecticut River dividing the two communities. Both the Hinsdale Police Department and Brattleboro Police Department work hand in hand to solve crime and assist each other with a multitude of resources. Both departments often request mutual aid resources to assist in many different ways. Crime does not stop at the border and it takes a strong partnership to ensure all of our communities remain as safe as possible. The Hinsdale Police and Brattleboro Police formed such a partnership many years ago, which remains strong.
